A
leading national travel management
firm based in Leamington Spa has
won a £1 million contract
with one of the UK's largest accountancy
firms.
The deal will see Travel Management
Group (TMG) look after the rail
travel requirements for 15 BDO Stoy
Hayward offices nationwide.
TMG is now set to install state-of-the-art
equipment in each location, which
will allow the accountancy firm's
3,000 UK staff to book train journeys
and print their own tickets.
David Moore, director of business
travel TMG, said: "We have
been working on this pioneering
product for some time and it is
very pleasing to win this contract
with such a prestigious customer.
"Staff at BDO Stoy Hayward
will now have the very best fares
available at their fingertips and
can be in possession of tickets,
which operate in railway station
barriers, in minutes.
"It was very important for
the client that the product gave
them best value, increased efficiency
and instant availability of tickets
and we have provided that.
"TMG has also customised the
equipment so that it ties in with
their branding and fits with their
company look and feel.
BDO Stoy Hayward is part of BDO
International which is the world's
fifth largest accounting network
operating in 100 countries worldwide.
Angela Davidson is the BDO Finance
Liaison Manager and was part of
the team that awarded the contract
to TMG.
She said: "We are delighted
to be working with TMG. With 15
offices in the UK and clients all
over the world, our travel needs
are extensive. This new system will
save us lots of administrative time
and should make booking travel much
quicker and easier for all our staff."
