Travel Agent Helen Ward has been appointed manager of Travel Management Group's leisure travel division in Leamington. promotion comes hot on the heals of her being awarded the Australian Tourist Commission's highest accolade as an 'Aussie Specialist'.

Helen has worked in TMG's leisure operation for five years where she specialises in personal holiday travel planning and preparing customised itineraries. She recently spent six months an 'Aussie Specialist' training programme before passing her final exams. She said "I had to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the country, its geography and customs and even prepare creative itineraries for travellers."

Her new specialist status means that Helen is recommended by the Australian Tourist Commission to anyone in the region who plans to holiday down under.
