Firm is Flying High
The
Travel Management Group based in
Leamington has landed a place in
the top 20 of the UK's leading business
travel companies. They won the top
placing in the latest list of 100
leading firms published by international
magazine Business Travel World -
widely regarded as the travel agents
bible.
The
Dormer place firm - which clinched
the contract for handling the official
England supporters' Club's travel
arrangement for the World Cup next
month - has an annual turnover of
350 million.
Ian
Dunwoody, chairman of Travel Management,
said the award was achieved through
hard work and determination. "We
have a tremendous team of skilled,
experienced hard working professionals
handling a portfolio of several
hundred clients," he said.
"We have invested heavily in
establishing a network of strategically
situated business travel centres
covering the spine of Britain, from
where we can service clients in
most parts of the UK".
Mr
Dunwoody added that the group's
buying power has become so great
it had negotiated low cost
air fares from Birmingham Airport
for less than half price. "No
longer do Midlands passengers have
to trek to Luton or Stanstead and
fly with no frills airlines to enjoy
low cost fares," he said.
